The argument given here is .. whenever Qur’an prohibits something, there is some harm, and some reason behind it. He gives the example that drinking alcohol is prohibited because drinking causes us to lose our control and right/wrong sense can’t be maintained.
It is not true.. moderate drinking gives pleasure but doesn’t make you lose your senses. Also, why did Allah not forbid sugar as it is also harmful to our health.
The reason given to avoid pork is also not correct..
