Halal Parts Of Meat
Recently at Eid e qurbaan i was told that the bone of shoulder blade is not halal. I coud not understand its reason. Kindly enlighten me on this issue.

Did they quote any reference to why they thought it was haram?

No, there was no reference. But every butcher i inquired hs told me that they dont add sell shoulder blade as a part of meat because they are not supposed to. I have searched alot about this but could not find a proper answer. I dont know when this tradition started.

You mean butchers in Pakistan? I don’t think there’s any such Prohibition islamically. But they don’t sell certain parts of the animals in some places for other reasons .In America they are not allowed to sell inner organs like intestines, stomach etc. for health reasons
