Can women wear sport clothes such as bras and tight fitting clothes as pertaining to he needs of the sport? Or should they not participate?

I think as long as someone is fulfilling the minimum requirements of Hijab as per Quran, the rest is a matter of more piety. We should not try to put everything in Haram and Halal category which has not been explicitly done by Allah Himself.
In my humble opinion tight clothing might not help in fulfilling the وَ یَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوْجَھُنَّ requirement in its essence.

Some Olympic sports as part of the process of the sport, reveal certain body parts and in my opinion, are not fit for Muslim women to participate in.
