Zakat On Plot For Making Home On It
I have bought some small plots with an intention to sell them off in future to buy a home.
As per my understanding, I’m NOT liable to pay 2.5% saving zakat because it comes under my Personal belonging.
But I have just heard a video of Ghamidi sb stating otherwise, Can someone help in this

That’s correct, you would still pay zakat on the value of the land if you meet the nisab. Once you have built a house on this land for personal use then it’s exempt from zakat.
