Was there a key difference in Rumi’s concept of tassawuf as compared to that of others sufi scholars e.g. Imam Ghazali?

Not sure. My reason to ask the question was because Ghamidi Sb’s views are generally opposed to Sufism. However, Rumi’s Sufi thought has not led to grave worship, or a parallel Sharia ( apparently). Hence I wondered what Ghamidi Sb thought about Rumi’s Sufism.

Rumi and Shams tabrezi together created a ritual to get near to Allah other than prescribe way of prayers. So they also fall in similar category

Rumi’s did not present any new interpretation of deen or tassawuf so his name is not mentioned in such debates. Personally I think that he was a great poet though.
