What meant for TALQEEN at the grave after burying some one. Some sect say to do that for ur loved one?
Do we recite surah yaseen and surah al barrage after the death of loved one for certain days.
Is it forbidden to cook any thing for 3 days after death of some one in you house?

There is no such religious prohibition, but practically it might not always be possible to do so considering the surrounding environment of recent loss and mourning.
