Ghamidi sahab mentions here that we can’t see the atom.

We can now.
What are some other things we believe in without seeing?

Contributor September 8, 2020 at 9:31 amSorry what do you mean sir when you say ‘see’ pain? We can see the cause of pain is a neurological firing from the interaction from a stimulus. What part of pain can’t we ‘see’?

Contributor September 8, 2020 at 9:33 amInference of what? Some abstract idea of pain is in humans. We wonder what is this feeling- why does it occur? We find out this specific part of the brain sends this specific signal and we feel this abstract idea of pain. The problem is not with seeing it is with the concept of the word and connotations of the idea ‘pain’

/ˈɪnf(ə)r(ə)ns/
noun
a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning.

We infer from the data we gather from scientific machinery that this causes ‘pain’. Now we can say that this imaging that we have captured is the true form and being and cause of the ‘feeling’ that we associate with the concept of ‘pain’.
So we infer from the data that this is the picture and form of pain
