Eg we can observe it. Anything else

The point that Sohail sahab made is that we don’t see pain – we infer it through observing other phenomena. That’s exactly the point that Ghamidi sahab is trying to drive across. We don’t see God, but He’s evident from everything in this universe.

Sorry what do you mean sir when you say ‘see’ pain? We can see the cause of pain is a neurological firing from the interaction from a stimulus. What part of pain can’t we ‘see’?

      That’s what’s called inference.

Inference of what? Some abstract idea of pain is in humans. We wonder what is this feeling- why does it occur? We find out this specific part of the brain sends this specific signal and we feel this abstract idea of pain. The problem is not with seeing it is with the concept of the word and connotations of the idea ‘pain’

Please research pain in more detail and what the idea of inference means.

      inference

      /ˈɪnf(ə)r(ə)ns/

      noun

a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning.

“researchers are entrusted with drawing inferences from the data”

      https://www.popsci.com/we-see-your-pain-literally/

We infer from the data we gather from scientific machinery that this causes ‘pain’. Now we can say that this imaging that we have captured is the true form and being and cause of the ‘feeling’ that we associate with the concept of ‘pain’.

So we infer from the data that this is the picture and form of pain
