  • Ghamidi Sahab’s Comment On Ilm-ul-Kalam

Ghamidi sahab’s recent comment on ilmul kalaam was that it’s a totally useless thing when it comes to religion. But in what grounds will we answer things like does God lie? I think Ghamidi sahab should make an extensive lecture on this to back up his claim that it’s a useless exercise.

Once someone is able to appreciate the entire structure of religion including it’s foundation based on natural disposition, and evidence-based belief in the God, the prophets, the day of judgement, and the scriptures, then questions like whether or not God can lie become completely irrelevant.

Ghamidi sahab actually did address the reason why in the same video, but I agree that his explanation will only make sense if one is able to understand and appreciate the fundamentals at a deeper level.

For reference, following is the video that you referred to.

Human speculation is a guess work in the realm of metaphysics. It brings out no KNOWLEDGE. Human speculation has no authority to speak on such matters
