قُلۡ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّىَ ٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَٱلۡإِثۡمَ وَٱلۡبَغۡىَ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَن تُشۡرِكُواْ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ سُلۡطَٰنًا وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

What is al-ithm?
What is al-baghy? Can it every be done justly (with a legitimate right)?

Not praying is just like not paying your bills.

But is it in the five categories snd can it be termed haraam then?

I think it falls under Ithm which means you fail to discharge your obligations resulting in “haque talfi”
