@UmerQureshi I have a question here, Is it permissible for us to watch the opposite gender whose skirt is falling above the knees, whose neckline is wider, or whose awrah is not covered properly with modesty in eyes? I mean, especially nowadays, in the Western countries, almost everyone is walking like this, and in movies or TV series, everyone is appeared like this. So, Is it enough to keep modesty in eyes or one should completely avoid from looking (which would be very difficult in this era, or almost impossible, especially when there is no fear of falling into the sin)?

Such borderline cases need to be decided by the individual but in clear cases of Fawahish, restraint is advised as a Sadd-e-Zariya measure and to avoid extension to Fawahish as well.
