Just like the darkness is nothing but the absence of light, or cold is nothing more than the absence of heat – evil is just a concept that comes into existence from the absence of good.
We only know God from the attributes that He has decided to share with us, and we have no way of knowing anything about God other than that. Since nothing that we know about God indicates that He has the potential to be evil, we should embrace the parameters of our knowledge and not form any conjectures in that matter.
