If it’s ‘in THE name of God’, then why is there no ال ?

I ask because I’ve heard some people say that the ال couldn’t stand being near the glory if the word الله. But I don’t get this

Not ال but only the ا of اسم is gone. Thats what ustadh nauman said.

Yes that’s because بإسم is too long.
But I’m pretty sure I remember him mentioning why there is no ال and giving the explanation I mentioned above.

No the ism isn’t maarifah here. Only in English we are using the word the with ism. U can listen again he only talked about the ا of ism. Ismi Allah is an idafah. So ism cant have an Al. Light no Al.

Personally I find it quite easy. I don’t know why maryam and Ahmad have such a hard time. I watch the episodes afterwards at 2x speed because otherwise it’s quite a waste of time and your live questions don’t usually get answered anyway
