Perfection is a subjective term and varies from human to human. Aside form that, when it comes to knowing God, our only source is God Himself through His scriptures. One can come to logical conclusion on existence of a creator but one has no way of knowing His Being and His way of dealings with Humans in the absence of word of God. Therefore, Muslims should stick to Quran only when understanding the Being, the attributes and the dealings of God. Following thread covers all these aspects in the light of Quran:
