The She camel’s coming out of the mountain is nowhere in Islamic sources. I have heard it is mentioned in Israeli traditions.

According to Ghamdi Sb, Saleh a.s nominated one of his camel.

  Wait so if I understood correctly the respite was as long as the camel remained alive? But wouldn’t that mean that the disbelieves changed the ajl of their adhaab that God says no one can change?

  How is this changing of ajl? it was a last chance / ultimatum which was given to every nation before final azab.

  Prophet would’ve continued Dawah or migrated until the camel died of natural causes and then the final azab.
