Opinion On Ego
What is ego? Is ego a bad thing in Islam? If it’s a bad thing, how can it be avoided? And in Islam, is it meant to bow the ego before Allah? If this is not done, will it be considered as shirk?

How can we train and control our ego. Even if it does not become evil. What methods can be adopted to control it?

The best way to train ourselves in this regard is trying to remain aware of our own behavior and that can be achieved through daily/nightly self accountability. When we judge our own behavior and ask ourselves ‘what made me act in a particular way’ it helps us to understand our own selves better and guide our future actions accordingly.
