Member January 3, 2021 at 1:02 amIn this hadith it is stated that Ammar will be killed by rebell group and this rebell group will invite him to hell, and he was killed by Mauwiya R.A group so does it mean Mauwiya R.A group was rebell and his group was on wrong side and inviting people to hell?

Moderator January 3, 2021 at 1:19 amSo let’s say that you actually establish that Muawiya RA was an evil person. Then what? How does it make any difference to your Islam?

Member January 3, 2021 at 2:23 amWell it is not the question of emaan but then arises some questions on Mauwiya R.A character and also he is narrator of Ahadith so how can we accept hadith from him if he is such evil person

But if it was just a political matter then this Hadith doesn’t make any sense. Because I think Ghamidi sahab don’t consider Muawiya (RA) as a rebel. He thinks it was the only solution available after the assissanation of caliph Usman (RA).

Member January 3, 2021 at 6:41 amI think we can safely assume that these kind of ahadith were very convenient because we all know that most of hadith books were written during the Abbasid period who were staunch enemies of Umayyads. So maybe some hadith scholars included these kind of hadith into their books to please the Abbasid caliphs. Is it possible ?
