We’re all these births miraculous? Did the parents have intercourse or was it like isa عليه السلام?

That is what I want to understand. On what basis should we assume this?

do we have any basis to assume either way? if these were not miraculous then what about the story of Maryam AS makes us think it was miracuous?

Yes, we have the Quran verses 19:19-20.

That doesn’t mean she couldn’t have gotten married or that she wasn’t married and could’ve had a child the natural way

The virgin birth of Jesus AS was an established fact way before the Quran. In Quran verses 19:19-20 it is confirmed, not refuted. Then in Quran 3:45 Allah SWT names Jesus AS the son of Mary and reconfirms his virgin birth in 3:47 while also mentioning his other miracles. Finally, this concept has reached us with ijma and tawatur.

With such overwhelming evidence of Jesus AS’s virgin birth, the evidence presented against this view can’t simply be “it doesn’t mean”.
