This is a disease which is horrible. Some people attempt sucide due to this disease. It has different symptoms.insan ko lagta hai wo namaz ni sai sy purh rha,wo gunah kr rhai hai etc and the worst is human thinks sexual thoughts about God and then went into depression.I don’t understand why God permit this type of disease to occur. This is so shameful to have these thoughts. These are not only shaetani waswasas but 48% ocd is genetic.I don’t understand that why Allah permit this

I’m glad someone asked this question I suffer from OCD as well, I didn’t know about it until I started reading about it. I often get irritated while doing wudu because I think my wudu is not complete and that I’m still not clean. For this purpose it often becomes difficult to pray more than 1 namaz in a single wudu as I don’t get satisfied until I get the feeling of being wet (wudu) even if my wudu has not been nullified. Moreover, I always think my namaz is incomplete or that I’ve missed a rakat . I also have to go through such immoral thoughts which is difficult to control. I thought this problem was only with me but now I’m convinced that there are other people as well who also feel the same.

May Allah cure you all and give you strength to overcome all obstacles. Rest assure Allah is just. If he puts you in a tougher test, the rewards are accordingly. With your struggles, a single prayer may be more valuable than 1000s of some other’s people’s prayers. Similarly, InshaAllah Allah will be much more generous in forgiving your mistakes than the people not going through such struggles. May Allah be extra kind to you all.

Religious OCD is a crippling anxiety disease but it is treatable. One must find a Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of OCD. OCD can be religious or OCD can be about contamination washing hands afraid of catching a disease, OCD is anxiety disorder and the sooner one finds a specialist the sooner one will recover.

hame lagta hai ye pareshani kafi logo ko hai kyuki mere aspas bhi aise logo ko deekha hai, pehle to har waqt shak na kare, shak me dalna bhi shaitani kaam hi hai phir vahi shak itna barjata hai ke insan itmenan hi nahi kar pata bas ek bar kaam karke use leave kare or namaz thoda loud parne se bhi faida milega matlab ye ke aapko apni avaaz sunaye de isse aap sunenge bhi or mind bhi focus karega, allah se dua hai ke hamsab ki pareshaniyo ko dur or sahi rasty par chalna naseb farmaye.

I have a family member with OCD so I advise you again to get a specialist help you can be treated why do you want to continue suffering? You can’t push these thoughts away. Only thing to do is ignore them, don’t act on them. If you have done wudu once don’t do it again. The more you listen to these thoughts the more they will come. Read up on OCD and you will see the causes of choice of treatments. Don’t punish yourself please get treatment. InshaaAllah it will work.

ji rafia sahiba aap sahi kehrahi hai mera manna ye hai ki specialist ke sath agar aap counsilar se bhi baat kare to achcha hoga, kabhi kabhi feeling ko apne log nazar andaz karty hai tabhi aisa hota hai,jab aap apni feeling usse share karty hai jo baat sunta samajhta or rasta batata hai to us time me kafi relax feel karty hai .

Please continue to get help. These thoughts are not normal, so the specialist will help you and teach you how to ignore them. Allah does not want any one to suffer. Once you learn to ignore them and get busy doing something else you will be fine. The more you pay attention the more they will come. Lots of people have OCD thoughts on religion, on contamination they are always worried about germs and wash their hands 100 times a day. I hope this help you. Please please see a doctor. He will help you. Please don’t suffer
