  • What To Do If Someone Tells You To Swear That You Haven’t Done A Sin

If there is a personal sin between you and God and someone says ‘say wallahi you haven’t done xyz’- is it permissible to lie in this situation? Because obviously if you don’t swear they will know that you have done it. When this type of invasion of privacy occurs what should one do?

What about when someone says ‘if you’re a Muslim do this’. Do we have to do this or in this situation can we just ignore the ignorant one and his ignorance?

if it is possible to ignore, you should avoid swearing. A Muslims is not in need to be certified for his Islam from others.

What about the winning one snd someone who says ‘say wallahi you haven’t done x’. If you do swear they’ll know you didn’t do it but if you don’t because you’ve done it but want to hide it they’ll know that you’ve done it. Would it be permissible to lie?

Taking oath is not that grave thing to compromise your dignity.

Lie or any forbidden act is allowed when your have no other choice And the harm you feel unbearable for you. This is what you have to decide that your in the state of Idhtiraar or not.
