موجودہ دور میں انسانیت اس مقام پر پہنچ چکی ہے کہ وہ ماضی کو آج اور مزید قریب سے جان سکتی ہے۔ ٹیکنولجی کے اس دور میں ہم carbon dating سے تاریخ کا تعین بھی کرلیتے ہے۔
دینی اعتبار سے ہمارے پاس آج زیادہ ذرائع ہے ،صحیح بات تک پہنچنے کے۔ کیا یہ موجودہ دور اس اعتبار سے ہمیں سلف کے مقام تک نہیں لے جاتا جہاں حقیقی مقوف کے قریب پہنچنا زیادہ آسان ہے بنسبت پچھلے ۱۲۰۰ سالوں میں؟

Knowledge is a journey. I don’t think that a comparison can fairly be drawn between the past and the present in regards to religion. Besides such a comparison doesn’t even buy us anything. The key thing is to understand things based on available information, and accept and reject them on the basis of available evidence.
