    Need For Quranic Tafaseer

    When Quran was revealed, the people of Makkah at that time including our Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions etc, everything was clear to them I mean there wasn’t any need for different interpretations if I’m not wrong. Then how did this need for tafseers and different interpretations arise?

    I think at time of revelation people’s of makkah knows that original classical arabic language at the passage of time and for non arabics tafseer or explaination is must for better understand

    It’s not true that people understood everything even at the time of prophet SAW. They used to ask him many questions. Quran has responded to several such questions also. Even sahaba’s disagreements with each other in several matters are part of our recorded history.
