Step Children Rights
What responsibilities a step parents has towards his/her step-children, especially when both biological parents are very much present and involved in the upbringing of these kids? Biological parents also have different parenting style than your own and do not want no disciplining being done by you, and kids are made aware of the fact that step-parent will not do any disciplining, so even telling routine manners such as not shouting, cleaning or not wasting fall on deff ears by kids anyways.

I’m afraid that this might be more of an issue of your mutual understanding or agreement with the biological parents rather than a religious issue.

Understood, but do i have any obligation towards my step children? If i do not have any obligation then i understand i would not have any rights either.

Technically, if you have adopted a child, then you have taken on full responsibility for that child and his well being.
