Salam
How can one determine whether he is doing takabur or not??
What are common things which make one arrogant?
I think Knowledge(Study in top University) , Nationalism, Provincialism, Caste, Money etc. But can someone point out more factors opon which people got arrogant .
Kindly povide a list or some checking parameter through which we can determine.
I heard someone if a vehicile of 20lac works fine for you ….Then selling it and buying 40lac car is arrogance……
Any Advise would be highly appreciated

Quranic term Istikbar is specifically used to for people denying truth after it was made clear.Any thing which can make you feel privileged and let you look down upon others will be come under arrogance/pride. The easiest way to find pride is htat you will feel superior to others based on something you have.
In the eyes Allah, only your good deeds account for superiority which no one can know except Allah.If you have money, you can spend in a moderate way. It donot matter you buy 40 lacs car or 20 lacs car unless you have resources for it.
