  • Deen Was Always Islam- Sabbath

If the deen was always the same why is such a fundamental worship ritual that is a massive thing for the jews not in the Islam of today? Was it for Christianity? What about pre Abraham عليه السلام?

Basis of celebrating Sabbaath is very absurd because they think that God took rest after creation. As we know from Ayat al kursi and surah rehman that God donot take rest, it is always doing something
I found a hadith which says for every nation it was friday but they differ about it.

Are you sure that is the basis? From Ghamidi sahabs tafsir of ayaat 7:163-166 seem to imply it wasn’t a bidah. Rather that sabbath was actually specific to the Jews and they weren’t allowed to hunt. Sure the day may have been changed but even the concept doesn’t seem to remain nowadays

In following video Ghamidi sb talked about why some there were changes in some aspects of shariyah. Although he didnt talk about sabbath but still worth watching. Kindly refer video 0:53:56 to 1:04:46

When deen was made to be preached by Israel to the whole world, they were given sabt. Surely they would’ve preached other people to do this act of worship too. So it can’t be for a specific culture or time since it was for all humans it seems

If it was specific to Jews because they were the chosen people- then why isn’t it the same for bani Ismael ?

So there was an extra concept of sabbath. It was just made fard on some people. It doesn’t seem to exist at all in any way which is the issue

Apaarently, based on hadith and Surah nahal verse, it seems like it was made fard who differed about it.
but in Tadabbure Quran, Amin Islahi sb has not taken this position. There he says that it was not in atal shariat for millate ibrahimi
