Allah Almighty has never condemned seeking knowledge and His blessings in this world. Instead He likes those who strive to improve their individual and collective lives by excelling in various fields. It is considered as seeking the blessings of Allah. Importantly, the trial is only possible when we are active in all the spheres of life. Abandoning the worldly life and its activities is akin to escaping from the trial itself.
