I don’t recall any hadith like that, but I can’t imagine any deed that’s neither useful in this world nor the hereafter. Without a valid reference, it’s not possible to understand what’s being said in the hadith.

Actually this hadith is in fazayle ammal book in story.

Fazail-e-Aamal is not a hadith book. If it quotes a hadith then it should have a reference to it.

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “It is from the excellence of (a believer’s) Islam that he should shun that which is of no concern to him”.

Here’s the full hadith and I think that it’s a beautiful advise. However, it’s not about this world and the hereafter as the original question stated.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Part of the perfection of one’s Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him.”

A hasan (good) hadeeth which was related by at-Tirmidhi and others in this fashion.

It means that one should not stick their nose in things that do not concern them.

Ok sir but what kind of things.

Mean that i was playing a game then one of my friend said to me that you should not playing games. I asked him why? Then he reference me to the above hadith.

So the application of above hadith is correct.

No, playing games does concern you. It provides you entertainment. As long as there’s nothing immoral in the game, there’s no harm in playing it. The narration above is referring to things that don’t concern you, for example, getting into private matters of others.
