      Does this means we can invest in conventional banks ?

      The primary source of income for a Bank is interest (sood), therefore, it is advised to not invest in Banking sector, whether in the form of a stock or in the form of a term deposit.

    I haven’t heard Ghamidi Sahib’s response, but in my opinion almost all banks are involved in the business of lending money on interest.

    To avoid investing in banks, why not buy stocks for some of the major companies that are part of the index.
