  Is Police Vigilantism Allowed?

  The judicial system of Pakistan is slow and corrupt. Criminals usually manage to get away with their crime scot-free. Is it permissible if a police officer resorts to extra-judicial encounters of rapists and contract killers (repeat offenders), to protect life and honor of fellow citizens?
