    Ghamidi Sb,

Assalam o Alaikum, I am asking a personal question about myself. I am a pharmacist in Pakistan and currently live in Canada. I was offered to rent out my license to a medical company who can use my license to run their business as it is imperative under Government of Pakistan for a medical business to have license and a pharmacist at place. If I give my license to that company and they use it as a formality to be a legal business man but my presence is not there, will the money given to me for renting it out be halaal ?

    Thankyou

As far as I know, when applying for your drug store license you fill out a form affirming that you own the store and/or that you will oversee the prescription fills. If that’s the case then it will be unethical to rent out your license. Anything unethical or immoral is not permissible in Islam.
