Zakat In Western Countries
If in western countries, we are paying 35% tax, which is more than way more than 10% (Ijtihad done by Ghamidi Sahab). Do we still need to pay the 2.5% zakat on savings or we can deduce this from the extra tax we are paying. Thanks

You will calculate your total zakat on earnings and deduct the taxes that you have paid. Similarly you will calculate your zakat on assets. If the total amount you have paid in taxes covers your zakat due then you don’t need to pay anything else.
