Hazrat Umar said Quran interpretation and meaning lies in prehistoric poetry. History points out that Muslim scholars composed the first systematic grammars and dictionaries of the Arabic language in the second half of eighth century. God said he will protect his word Quran but what about interpretation. It seems Quran says look at nature and use your intellect to figure it out instead of memorize it by heart the interpretation given to you in 7th century. Also in poetry most of the words are spoken figuratively but it seems we are reluctant to think figuratively for Quran words.
