    (Qur’an 5:44)

Yusuf Ali: It was We who revealed the law (to Moses): therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah’s will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers.

Both Holy Books Torah and Zabur were given to Jews. It is a universal fact that Torah was revealed to Musa (as) similarly, it is a universal fact that Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad pbuh. It is not necessary to mention in Qur’an that “Torah, the book revealed to Musa (as)”. Read following article to know more detail about famous Holy Books:

It was not necessary I agree. But it is mentioned that isa عليه السلام got the injeel and that dawud عليه السلام got the zabur. That was not necessary either so why was that mentioned if this wasn’t

Can’t say for sure but perhaps Torah was received by not only Moses but it was revealed for the whole nation of Bani Israel who were already ready to receive it.

Zabor was individually sent to David for his recitation and other followed as an option. Injeel was not accepted by the Jews so it was only Jesus who received it.

Very interesting view because the modern Torah seems to record Musa عليه السلام ‘s death as well
