Zakat On Amount I Owe And On Reserved Amount
1- I reserved 15 lacks(with me) few month ago for properry transaction but transaction not proceeded yet and I found 1st ramadan (my zakat calculation day) should I pay zakat on amount I reserved for this transaction ?
2- i have given loan someone few years ago and they have paid very little since then… though they are promissing me to return big amount in next month. Should zakat payable on money I am expecting to recieve in future ?

In short zakat will be due on (1) and not on (2). Please enter appropriate numbers in out Zakat Calculator after reading description for each box. When you reach the end, it will generate a statement showing you exactly what percentage is applied to what and how much you owe. It’s also a great way to learn the sharia of zakat.
