Entertainment During Ramadan
My question is that normally people do everything like watching movies/music etc but during fasting they I don’t know why consider it to be a big sin. If a thing isn’t Haram or inappropriate or wrong and a person prays regularly and follows his usual work routine and spends his time like he usual does during the year so how is it wrong to do the same during ramadan? Now obviously I don’t mean by indulging in pornography or inappropriate things but watching films/music/entertainment together with praying and reading quran etc is it ok or not?

agar ham aapka ques sahi samjhe hai to,mere khayal me ramadan khaas ibaadat ka month hai isliye iske waqt ko zaya karne se bachna chahiye,hadees me ata hai ke nabi kareem is maheeny me hawa se bhi zyaada tez neikiya karty the,dusri hadees hai ke jise ramdan ka maheena mila or usne apni bakhshish na karwae us par afsoos hai.jo kaam aamtaur se ghalat hai vo ramdan me bhi ghalat hai or jo kaam sahi hai vo ramadan me bhi sahi hi hai bas 30days ki khaas ahmiyat hai.

I’m not aware of the ahadith you have mentioned and it’s authenticity so please give proper references with the book title and number of the hadith you mention so it’s authenticity can be checked. Doosri baat yeh ke I understand yeh maheena maafi maangne aur apne aap ko sudhaarne ka hai but as you mentioned in the end jo cheezein normally sahi hain woh ramadan mai bhi Sahi hain tou thankyou so much I got my answer.

Haram and halal are not time bound. However, Ramadan is a great time to earn more rewards and get closer to God. That’s the reason why entertainment activities should be minimized during this month as much as possible, and that time should be spent in productive things.
