    Aslam o Alaikum, I have heard Ghamdi Sahb saying that if a non muslim commits blasphemy he/she isn’t punishable. What do you think about Ghazi Ilam deen then?

    Why did Quaid e Azam defend him in the court?

      Yes, Allama Iqbal himself took responsibility and persuaded the British Gov that the funeral procession will be peaceful.

    In Islam the principal is that you cannot take the law into your own hands. The death punishment for blasphemy is not a law in many muslim countries. Even in Pakistan this was made into a law during Zia ul Haq’s reign.

    Assuming that Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal praised or defended someone who might have done something wrong, it is not really an evidence against the word of God that Ghamidi sahab is explaining. Please see this for details:
