Hadith words are not words of Prophet (sws) verbatim. They are words of prophet (sws) as understood by the narrator. Just because something is in Hadith, doesn’t necessarily make it a religious injunction. This hadith also falls within elderly advice by the Prophet (sws) in his capacity as an elder of the society and not in His capacity as a Prophet.
