We should learn to ask questions and focus our own learning and growth rather than trying to correct others and judging them because their different views.
We can learn asking question by practicing zooming in and zooming out.
Practice separating assumptions from facts.
Practice going down the ladder of inference to raw data while validating beliefs, values and conclusion and try to figure out how what’s causing the difference.
Try to understand others first before sharing your own views. Explain their point of view back to them and see if they confirm your understanding.

Last but not the least, during an intellectual dialogue, we should learn to control our emotions and tolerate others and only focus on the topic under discussion.
