Salam.
No Sister. The Iddat period is no longer applicable in this condition. Since the reasoning behind iddat is to determine whether the woman is pregnant with the previous husband and to protect the lineage of the child with his real father. With science If we know before hand & with relative certainty that the woman is not bearing any child than there is no reason to sit for Iddat. Allah knows best.

If one is absolutely sure that there’s no chance of pregnancy then there’s no iddat required.
