Family Rights In Case Of Adoption
If a child was given up for adoption by his real parents and he never saw them or the rest of his family. When this child grows up, does his real family (who are practically strangers to him) have any rights over him like they would in a normal family setup?

Also: What if the child saw his family but did not live with them (e.g. the child’s parents gave the child to a relative for adoption, so any real family ties were never established)?

Thanks, but the discussion does not mention whether the absent family of a child, who gave him up for adoption and he never lived with his real family, has any rights over him?

Does the child, when he grows up, have to look after or provide for his real parents when they get old (who are like strangers to him as he never lived with them in a normal family set up)?

If child was being adopted during sucking age and was properly breastfed, then the couple/family who adopted that child are their foster parents with the same rights and obligations as child’s biological parents. This adds a new relationship for the child and doesn’t take away the biological relationship that already exists between the child and their biological parents. However, the onus is on the biological parents, since they took this decision without child’s consent, so they should take all the responsibility of such decision. A child will take care of them the same way any other child would’ve taken care of another lady who didn’t adopt the child but who’d breastfed him/her during their suckling age.
