  Concept Of Aqeeqa In Islam

  Basically, Islam is the religion of equality. However, in Pakistani society, two goats are sacrificed on the birth of baby boy and one goat is sacrificed on the birth of baby girl. Is this not against the true spirit of Islam? Please clear me regarding the concept of Aqeeqa in Islam
