Is Entertainment Haram?
Recently i stumbled upon mufti tariq masood bayan in which he said watching tv films cricket matches is just wasting time which we as muslims are not allowed aur yeh non muslims ke kaam hain hume yeh nhi krne chaiye kyunke waqt wapis nhi ayega so no entertainment aesa hee kaha tha unnhone. I became depressed after listening to this and im so confused keh ager im doing all my obligatory acts such as Namaz and ibadat kya phir bhi we as Muslims dont have a right on life separate then these things? What are we supposed to do then? This looks very against the human nature because naturally humans are inclined to different interests and passions. Verily Islam should be the priorty but we a right to live life? Am i right? What does ALLAH swt say about this? I became really confused and started overthinking. This means we should leave everything? Or what? Please clarify.
