    Shaking hands with opposite gender is not wrong ..if intentions are not wrong….what if anybody Hugs, get more close with opposite gender(non mahrm) which don’t look appropriate to anybody who sees it…and they say our intentions are not wrong…can we say to them that this is wrong…..that there must be some physical distance which should be maintained between opposite genders(non mahrm)…i am not taking in account emergency situations.. Like doctors..or something else.. My main question is if someone making this habit..getting close to opposite gender..and claiming we are brothers and sisters…can we say to them this is wrong..some rules must be maintained even if your intentions are not wrong.

    Islam is not based on someone’s apparent claim but on the person’s true intentions. Allah is fully aware of true intensions, feelings and thoughts. That is why before doing any such things the person has to look inside. He doesn’t have to convince any other person.
