How do you analyse Murray Bookchin’s perspectives of The Direct Democracy, Libertarian Confederalism, Theory of Social Ecology, Democratic Workplaces with Worker -ownership (worker cooperatives), Libertarian Communalism/ Municipalism and building Dual Power Structures and grassroots movements ? And how do you see Libertarian Confederalism in Rojava Revolution?

Bro Syed Jillani, please would you recommend me a book (or a web link) where I can learn more about it to form an opinion? The topics look quite interesting.

In principle, Islam doesn’t take a position on the collective structure of the society except that its matters must be decided by consensus of its people.

Workplace democracy and most other socialist ideas are generally only good in theory. Besides, most of the times, neither is the picture of a capitalist society as gloomy as painted by the socialists, nor evidently the picture of a socialist society as rosy as its portrayed by them.

To my limited understanding, “Amruhum Shura Baynahum” would not support Workplace Dictatorship but rather Democratic values and regulations in workplaces as well. Our matters of economics if solved with democratic values and consensus don’t seem to go against religions.

Nrother you should research about Mondrogon and 2.94 million cooperatives working wonders before claiming they don’t work. (https://www.ica.coop/en/media/news/co-ops-employ-10-global-employed-population , Pakistan’s Cooperation department is also member of ICA )

Why Capitalism sucks? There are enormous arguments but not enough space here to post. For starters, it functions on “predatory profit motive” which çauses wars and colonisations for profits motive and if you have been keeping with climate crisis due to releasing too much greenhouse gases the chain of changes is to start. Research about climate Scientists bro.

      Here are some facts

      – THE WORLD’S RICHEST 1% HAVE MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH WEALTH AS 6.9 BILLION PEOPLE.

      – ALMOST HALF OF HUMANITY IS LIVING ON LESS THAN $5.50 A DAY.

      – TODAY 258 MILLION CHILDREN – 1 OUT OF EVERY 5 – WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO TO SCHOOL.

      – EVERY DAY 10,000 PEOPLE DIE BECAUSE THEY LACK ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE.

      – EACH YEAR, 100 MILLION PEOPLE ARE FORCED INTO EXTREME POVERTY DUE TO HEALTHCARE COSTS.

      – ( source: https://www.oxfam.org/en/5-shocking-facts-about-extreme-global-inequality-and-how-even-it)

      – Approximately 3.1 million children die from undernutrition each year (UNICEF, 2018a).

      – Overall, 5.6 million children under age five died in 2016, nearly 15,000 daily (World Health Organization [WHO], 2016).

In last I would suggest Thomas Pickety’s book “Capital in Twenty First Century” based on twenty years of research full of statistics of twenty years and with all authentic sources to understand inequality and death as outcome of capitalism.

      Regards.

Can you name a few cooperatives that belong to the Fortune 500, have made any significant scientific discoveries, created any technology that has helped the common man, done any significant research in are area of medical science, or has mass produced any item making it affordable for the common man?

The “2.94 million cooperatives” that according to you are doing wonders are run very much like corporations. The reason companies choose to assemble as cooperatives is generally because they get favorable tax or legal advantages.

I’m not necessarily for or against capitalism. If there’s a better system out there that helps the greater humanity, I’ll be very happy to vote for it. However, the negatives that you counted against capitalism are not entirely the negatives of capitalism. This is very common with people who support socialism. Also you fail to mention how many people across the world are able to put bread on their tables due to capitalism. The technology that you’re using to communicate with me neither is nor could ever be a product of a socialist system. Capitalist economy has its flaws and is far from perfect, but to consider it evil or the root of all problems is a mistake.
