رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جس شخص کو وسعت ہے پھربھی اس نے قربانی نہیں کی تو وہ ہماری عیدگاہ کے قریب نہ آئے۔

Yes, If one is performing hajj-i-tamatto, then one Qurbani is for fidya of performing hajj and umra both as per Quran. Therefore, in order to do a Qurbani specifically as part of hajj ritual, a separate Qurbani needs to be done.

This Hadith is emphasizing importance of Qurbani, and Ghamidi Shaab as in the above video pointed to this fact that nothing explicit about its ‘farz nature‘ has been said by the Prophet (sws) and its a matter of how one approaches certain sources of religion. Ahnaf approach the same hadith and call it a wajib (even they don’t consider hadith directives as farz because hadih is ‘zanni-us-saboot’ by nature according to them as well), while rest of the scholars take it in the meaning of emphasizing its importance.
