Bible is a good start

Peace!
Read the NRSV translation of the Bible. I’ve heard it’s a good translation from Paul from Blogging Theology.

Bible is good but it doesn’t follow an interesting narrative
U can consider Robert Alter’s translation + commentary of Old Testament
More interesting would be Simon Schama multipart documentary about Jews (also book form)
