Musa was sent to two nations: Egyptians, and Bani Israel. Egyptians were punished after Itmam ul Hjjah after Musa and his nations departed from Egypt. Not only Pharaoh and his army were drowned but Egypt was destroyed too. see verse, 7: 136-137.
As far as Bani Israel are concerned, they accepted him as their prophet and leader, but later, they disobeyed him, and after him they committed Shirk and other crimes too, for which they were punished by God time to time.
