According to the verses in Surah Nur and Surah Ahzaab , isn’t shuttlecock burqa unislamic and oppressive ? I’m asking this in context of recent Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.

To call something Un-Islamic, we need to have a Nass (prescribed statement) or an argument based on some Nass. In this case, we have none. but since wearing a dress is a personal matter, forcing someone to wear a specific dress is transgression, which is not allowed.
