Quran 18:104 – Doubts About Faith
Assalam o Alaikum
There’s something that has me deeply worried. As I read Quran sometimes doubts or questions stem in my mind re. Ayats (I ask ‘em here) but is that okay? Am I among these people who are those Allah say (Nauzo’billah) doubt his word … am I destined for hell? I worry that I am bad or wrong. Plus I read this ٱلَّذِینَ ضَلَّ سَعۡیُهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَهُمۡ یَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ یُحۡسِنُونَ صُنۡعًا ﴿ ١٠٤ ﴾
• ابوالاعلی مودودی:
وہ کہ دنیا کہ زندگی میں جن کی ساری سعی و جہد راہِ راست سے بھٹکی رہی اور وہ سمجھتے رہے کہ وہ سب کچھ ٹھیک کر رہے ہیں (104)
Al-Kahf, Ayah 104
And it has me terrified I acknowledge that I have asked a childish question but I have “iztarab” in my heart if I am fundamentally a bad person Yes I have read many ayats saying Allah is forgiving but why I get automatic questions as I recite? I don’t even know if I am being stupid … then I see you people MashAllah and I wonder good people are like you I apologize if this is ridiculous I don’t think my namaz is good namaz
I am aware of Hadees that say have good expectations and be hopeful yet I don’t have solace.
JazakAllah. There’s not even a question here but worrying rant. May Allah forgive all of us.

Why do you worry? you say Bismillah every time, ponder over it. It answers your question

Do u think He doesnt know what you r going through and what you r asking and what do u need? He is Al Aleem!
so you have most merciful and most knowing on your side, whats there to worry about?
your only job is to be a good slave of Allah and a good human to others
Shaitan/ ibless will always worry u about things, he knows, will be accepted by Allah. If u r doing something out of riya or as showoff, you will never be bothered by ibless cuz you r working for him.
