Report Of Omar In Bukhari About Pledging Allegiance Without Consultation

Ghamidi Sahab recently talked about a report about Omar in Bukhari in which he warned against pledging allegiance to someone without consulting the other Muslims. However the report also mentions the following:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَعَثَ مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابَ فَكَانَ مِمَّا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ آيَةُ الرَّجْمِ، فَقَرَأْنَاهَا وَعَقَلْنَاهَا وَوَعَيْنَاهَا، رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَجَمْنَا بَعْدَهُ، فَأَخْشَى إِنْ طَالَ بِالنَّاسِ زَمَانٌ أَنْ يَقُولَ قَائِلٌ وَاللَّهِ مَا نَجِدُ آيَةَ الرَّجْمِ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ، فَيَضِلُّوا بِتَرْكِ فَرِيضَةٍ أَنْزَلَهَا اللَّهُ، وَالرَّجْمُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ عَلَى مَنْ زَنَى إِذَا أُحْصِنَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ،
Even the chapter is named: باب رجم الحبلى من الزنا إذا احصنت
Should we then be considering this report to be authentic when it goes against the Quran?

I don’t think it goes against Quran altogether, as Prophet (sws) did Rajam people in his liftime, and according to imam Farahi, it was done in accordance with Murabah verse. Probably Umar (rta) might be referring to these verses of Quran as Rajam verses and inclusion of married male and female could be his own understanding of the application or narrator must’ve added something to Umar (rta) original statement regarding rajam verses. There’s no reason to reject this narration altogether, becasue it can still be understood despite little differences in understanding of Quran’s verse on Murabah.
