  Neutering And Spaying Of Pets(cats) In Islam

  Is it permissible to spay or neuter cats in islam to keep them home as pets, as it is for their own health and safety?

    Thankyou, ive already listened to it but im still confused as it does not describe about the pets as we dont sacrifice them or keep them for their meat.
